There is big differences of density, color, metal lustre between stibnite and its inlayed gangue, so most stibnite antimony can be upgraded by gravity separation with its low plant investment and friendly to environment. The handling size range of gravity sepatator can be wide and this gravity separation can be also the preparation of further flowtation separation if floatation separation is needed.
Jig machine and shaking table is usually involved as gravity separators for antimony mineral upgrading. Jig separator is mainly for medium and coarse antimony separation while shaking table is used for fine antimony granule separation.
