Antimony ore type, structure, composition and inlay size decides the suitable concentration method. Gravity separation works well for most antimony ores because Antimony is kind of mineral with big specific gravity and coarse inlay granules. Stibiconite, kermesite and valentinite is the antimony ore easiest to beneficiate by gravity separation. Gravity separation has been the main way to get antimony concentrate with its low plant cost and low operation cost and coarse antimony concentrate available removing large quantity of waste stone without antimony. Sometimes, gravity separation can not help to get the qualified concentrate of antimony. However, the gravity separation can work as a pre-separation for the following floatation separation. Gravity separation works as pre-separation especially for concentrating of antimony oxide.
