Gold in the placer is usually gold of elementary substance with its high monomer disintegrate degree. They are generally the shapes of pulley, piece or branch with its granularity of 0.5-2mm. So gravity beneficiation-amalgamator separation can gain excellent beneficiation efficiency. The big waste gangue in the gold ore should be screened before the gravity separation to help prevent the blocking phenomenon of the gravity beneficiation equipments. Gluing mud pies mixed in the ore will be discharged together with the gangues making the gold loss if the mud pies are not crushed. This gravity separation uses water as medium without any other reagent addition according to different density of materials without any pollution to the environment but a high recovery rate. The different granularity of the ore decides the treatment size of the gravity equipments. Therefore reasonable beneficiation equipments for placer gold should be the combination process of chute, jigger, and table concentrator by coarse selecting by chute, senvenging by jigger and selecting by the tale concentrator.
